Population Register Centre’s telephone numbers have changed on 3 September 2012

The telephone numbers of the Population Register Centre have changed on 3 September 2012.

The new number of the exchange is +358 295 535 001. The new fax number for the office in Helsinki is +358 9 876 4369 and for the office in Kokkola +358 6 835 2337. The mobile phone numbers will not change.

Incoming calls to the old numbers starting with +358 9 2291 6 will be redirected to recorded advice messages.

The new numbers are a part of the new telephone number system of the state administration. Customers will be able to phone the Population Register Centre at the local call rate from anywhere in Finland (only a local network fee or a mobile phone fee determined by the caller's operator will be charged). When calling from abroad the rate is determined by the local operator.
