Address Service

The Address Service, which is a joint service of the Population Register Centre and the local register offices, helps you to easily obtain the current addresses of everyone living permanently in Finland, either by telephone from the number 0600 0 1000 (only in use in Finland) or through the Internet address osoitepalvelu.net. The addresses provided by the Address Service are obtained from the Population Information System. The addresses of the people you are looking for can usually be found using such basic information as a first name, a family name (current or former) as well as accurate of a date-of-birth as possible; it might be, however, necessary to provide some other background information such as a former address or place of residence in order to identify the individuals correctly.

The lines of our phone service on 0600 0 1000 are open 24 hours a day every day of the year. You will receive the address you asked for immediately, provided that the person has not forbidden the disclosure of their address. In addition to addresses, you can call our service for private persons’ telephone numbers and business contact details. Calls cost € 1.67/min + local network/mobile call rate. The length of the call depends on how detailed the information is that you already have.

The Internet service osoitepalvelu.net is available 24 hours a day, year-round. This service can be used by the following Finnish Internet banking services: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Aktia, Tapiola, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki or Sampo Pankki. With the shopping basket, you can enquire from 1 to 20 addresses during the same session. This service costs € 1.23 for each address enquired. Unfortunately, this service is only available in Finnish or in Swedish. The Finnish version can be found here.
